Filipinx-Canadian designer, Kelvin Stidwill celebrates the artistry of queer expression with their Ottawa-based label Kerotix. With emphasis on design as a sculptural practice, Kerotix’ audacious silhouettes aim to empower wearers to explore their oddity, sensuality, and strength in new ways.
Kelvin Stidwill is an emerging fashion designer based in Ottawa, Ontario. From a background in Biochemistry, their design is self-taught since 2022, channeling a creative vision long suppressed. Kelvin’s design primarily focuses on the manipulation and reconstruction of secondhand materials, and serves as a tribute to nonconformity and queer identity.
Key pieces from Kerotix’ debut collection “Endlessly Back to School” are reimagined here as office-appropriate attire, with an aim to highlight signature Kerotix styles: high-gloss, high-drama.
