LIVE: The Aesthetics of Digital Intimacy

In an era oversaturated with digital imagery, curation has become its own form of performance. LIVE explores this paradox—where spontaneity and construction collide, dissolving the boundaries between authenticity and artifice. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of the influencer photo dump, this editorial subverts the language of casual documentation, transforming ephemeral moments into a deliberately crafted narrative of self-representation.

Produced as part of the LIGNES DE FUITE Talent Incubator, a Montreal-based platform dedicated to cultivating the next generation of creatives, LIVE serves as both a showcase and a proof of concept for emerging talent. Under the guidance of industry veterans, participants are given the space to experiment, refine their artistic vision, and challenge the conventions of contemporary fashion imagery. The result is a visual dialogue that interrogates digital intimacy and the mechanics of personal branding, questioning what it means to be “real” in an era where every moment is mediated.
