In her Spring 2026 collection, Magda Butrym has achieved elegance without being boring. Floral dresses, workwear blazers and silk slips have been reproduced ad-nauseam by brands both high fashion and fast fashion, but Butrym has executed these feminine staples with skillful sophistication and edge; each piece contains something surprising, be it asymmetrical drapery or sculpted silhouettes.
Brent Cleveland and Sheila Nadimi, two artists living and working in Montreal, are both perhaps emblematic of the city’s propensity toward the avant-garde.
UNION is the first solo exhibition by South Korean artist Lee Bae in Canada. With a focus on the artist’s Issu du feu (Emerging From Fire) series from 1999-2000, the exhibition spans a variety of different non-traditional media.
