For Spring–Summer 2026, MRKNTN returns with SAINT-MAURICE, a collection rooted in the mythology, labour, and memory embedded along the Québec river of the same name. Markantoine Lynch-Boisvert continues his signature approach of weaving narrative into construction: silhouettes inspired by log drivers balancing across drifting timber, forest workers carving paths along the shoreline, and the utilitarian romance of vintage uniforms worn down by time.
The garments move through this lineage without slipping into nostalgia. Workwear codes are reimagined with refined tailoring, subtle sculptural volume, and MRKNTN’s unmistakable sense of theatricality. Each piece feels like an artifact, carrying what the designer calls the “whispers of ancestral knowledge,” where past and present fold into each other.
SAINT-MAURICE becomes a dialogue: between history and futurity, between Quebec’s cultural memory and contemporary fashion language, between childhood stories and the landscapes that shaped them. The collection positions clothing as a witness to time, durable, intimate, and deeply local.
